Jorge Marquez has been among the elite vocalists in the Washington DC Latin music scene over the last several decades. Before becoming the front man for Rumba Club, Jorge fronted the well known salsa band Pelegro during their long run at Chelsea’s in Georgetown every Friday and Saturday night. Jorge also sang for the great Machu Picchu Orchestra. Jorge has performed at countless music festivals and concerts throughout the USA. He is known for his exuberant inspirations and warm sonorous voice.
